A would-be scammer appears to have bitten off greater than she may chew after contacting radio host Ben Fordham on WhatsApp.
On Thursday, the 2GB host revealed that he determined to play a trick on a scammer after receiving an out of the blue message from an individual calling themselves “Tina”.
Fordham revealed he thought he could have been “targeted by another scam” after receiving a WhatsApp message from a stranger claiming to be making an attempt to contact an Australian tour information.
“Hello is this Peter’s tour guide services? It’s me Tina, my friend gave me this number. I will be having a vacation in Australia,” the message learn, alongside a photograph of a younger lady.
“So I couldn’t help myself,” the radio host mentioned.
“I wrote back, “Yeah, good love. This is Pathetic Pete’s Aussie Outback tours. What part of the country do you want to see?”

“You can call me whatever you want by most people call me Robbo,” Fordham responded.

When Tina requested the place the radio host was from, he claimed he was “from the bush” behind Bourke.

The lady then requested for his age and requested if they might meet up for espresso if she got here to Bourke.
Fordham responded that he was in his 50s and “had a few marriages and there’s a few tin lids running around”.
