Hundreds of ‘angry’ bakers take to the streets of Paris to demand more government aid

Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd says a whole bunch of bakers took to the streets of Paris as they known as on the federal government to offer extra monetary support.

“French bakers are angry, and they’re not sugarcoating it,” Mr Boyd mentioned.

“Electricity bills for bakers have surged from 1200 euros per month to over 5,000.

“Meanwhile, the cost of a baguette has only risen from one euro to one-and-a-half euros.”
