Another former policeman tagged within the abduction of an e-sabong grasp agent surrendered to authorities on Saturday evening.
The suspect, former Police Corporal Roy Navarete, voluntarily surrendered on the Calauan Municipal Police Station in Laguna, in response to a report by Super Radyo dzBB’s Luisito Santos.
Navarete was the topic of a warrant of arrest resulting from prices associated to kidnapping and severe unlawful detention, and theft towards Ricardo Lasco in Barangay San Lucas in San Pablo, Laguna on August 30, 2021.
On Thursday, fellow suspects former Police Patrolman Rigel Brosas and former Police Staff Sergeant Daryl Paghangaan surrendered to the Philippine National Police-Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG) Team 4-A.
Lasco was illegally arrested at his home by the suspects who allegedly pretended to be brokers of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Apart from kidnapping Lasco, the group additionally allegedly took the sufferer’s jewellery, cash, cellphones, and a vault containing cash.
Lasco has not been seen since.
