‘People in the bush’ want the Voice to succeed

Alice Springs Mayor Matt Paterson says “people in the bush” need the Indigenous Voice to Parliament to succeed.

“But it is the question if we are having the Voice, does it make people’s lives in remote communities better,” Mr Paterson instructed Sky News Australia.

“We just need to break it down and make sure people in our community, in remote communities who are having 12 people in their living room, with the over-crowding issues that we face, that the Voice helps those people.”
