Naomi Judd wrote in what seems to be her chilling suicide observe that she didn’t need her “mentally ill” daughter Wynonna Judd to attend her funeral.
Radar Online obtained a photograph of the message, written on a yellow Post-it observe, from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee on Tuesday, Page Six stories.
“Do not let Wy come to my funeral,” the observe learn. “She’s mentally ill.”
The phrase “not” was underlined, indicating how strongly Naomi allegedly felt about banning Wynonna from her companies.
A supply near Wynonna advised the outlet that she is “crushed” by her mom‘s last words.
“Wy knows better than anyone the mental struggles Naomi went through, but it just crushes her to think her mother‘s dying thoughts were so vicious,” a friend said.
The Judd family declined to comment on the apparent suicide note when reached by Page Six.
The country music icon died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in April 2022 at the age of 76. She had struggled with her mental health for several years.
In August, an autopsy report from the Nashville medical examiner’s workplace revealed that Naomi had been discovered “unresponsive in her home by family” and was pronounced lifeless shortly after being rushed to a close-by hospital.
Wynonna, who carried out with Naomi of their nation music duo, The Judds, opened up in May in regards to the heartbreak of dropping her mom.
“I DO know, that the pain of losing Mom on 4/30 to suicide is so great, that I often feel like I’m not ever going to be able to fully accept and surrender to the truth that she left the way she did. This cannot be how The Judds story ends,” she wrote on Instagram on the time.
Wynonna, 58, added that she wanted to work on herself to keep away from the psychological well being and habit struggles which have plagued her household.
“I really DO know, that I’m not able to do this grieving thing all by myself, and that it’s okay to reach out for help. I will continue to fight for my faith, for my SELF, for my family, and I WILL continue to show up & sing,” she wrote.
Wynonna paid tribute to her mom on the 2022 CMA Awards in November, telling the viewers, “These past six months have been a time to grieve and a time to be grateful.”
But rumours of a household feud swirled when Wynonna and her sister, Ashley Judd, had been not noted of their mom’s will.
Wynonna denied claims that she was combating with Ashley, 54, in October.
“Someone told me while I was at Ashley’s house, ‘Hey, did you know that they’re saying this about you?’ I went, ‘Huh? I’m fighting with Ashley? Oh. Again?’” she advised People.
“Fighting over what? I have such a great life. Ashley has a great life. Why would we be fighting over the will?”
Wynonna even went as far as to say that her mom‘s death had only brought her closer to her sister.
Court documents previously obtained by Page Six showed that Naomi had appointed her husband, Larry Strickland, as the executor of her estate five years before she died.
Upon Strickland’s dying, Wynonna mentioned she and Ashley will “split” the property and that she has no plans to contest the desire.
