“I had a little joke saying, ‘You sure it’s not my client hitting the pads?’ Anyway, he went to go and look through all the gym,” Alleyne stated.

“Next minute, about 15 of them show up, all arms, all vested up.

“So that is after I began to, you recognize, panic slightly bit as a result of it was getting slightly bit critical.”

Alleyne was stumped as had heard no gun shots, revealing he thought there may have been a “killer on the unfastened”.

But he wasn’t the only one puzzled.

One of the officers tried to pinpoint who made the call, but they initially mispronounced the 34-year-old’s name.

Eventually the officer realised Alleyne was the man they were looking for, but another mystery emerged.

“I’m like ‘look that is unimaginable’. I’m trying round for my telephone. I can by no means discover my telephone. That took about two minutes,” Alleyne said.

The pair checked the call log and sure enough the device had dialled 112, an emergency telephone number that can be called free of charge from most devices.

“I (nonetheless) thought it was unimaginable as a result of I had no telephone on me and I took my watch off in between the pad rounds,” he said.

“What we realised is when you maintain the Crown button in your Apple watch, it asks for Siri. I bear in mind taking it off as a result of Siri was going off, being annoying. I will need to have shouted the combo 112, (which is) jab, jab, cross.

Once realisation dawned the officers thought the incident was humorous.

“They were joking around and stuff,” he stated with fun.

“You know, saying, ‘you’ve got to fight one of us guys now.’ I was like, they’re all big, so probably not.”
