Crows toss AFL lifeline to Magpies discard

Midfielder Tyler Brown has been thrown an AFL lifeline by Adelaide, signing a one-year rookie contract with the Crows.

Brown was delisted by Collingwood on the finish of final season after taking part in 27 AFL video games over 5 years for the Magpies.

“I’m very grateful for getting another opportunity to join an AFL club,” Brown mentioned in a press release on Wednesday.

“I felt welcome here as soon as I walked in the door.”

Brown fills one among two vacant listing spots on the Crows after they positioned winger Paul Seedsman on their inactive listing resulting from ongoing concussion points, and Fischer McAsey’s choice to stroll away from the game.

Brown, a son of former Collingwood captain Gavin Brown, was signed as a pre-season supplemental choice after arriving in Adelaide this week for a trial coaching interval.
