More than 68,000 followers, an NBA document, turned out on the Alamodome on Friday because the host San Antonio Spurs turned again the clock by taking part in on the venue they referred to as residence for 9 seasons spanning the flip of the century.

Before an introduced crowd of 68,323, the Golden State Warriors handily defeated the Spurs 144-113. The attendance set an NBA document for a regular-season recreation, surpassing the 62,046 who watched the Atlanta Hawks host the Chicago Bulls on the Georgia Dome on March 27, 1998.

Playing one recreation within the dome is a part of the Spurs’ celebration of their fiftieth anniversary season. The group performed residence video games there from 1993-2002 and gained its first championship in 1999. The NBA All-Star Game was held there in 1996.

The Spurs’ residence courtroom is now the AT&T Center, some three miles east of the dome.
