Tamworth Country Music Festival Director Barry Harley says the pageant is “so important” as the event of over 50 years has turn into a “vital economic boost”.
It injects “more than 60 million dollars” into the economic system, Mr Harley advised Sky News Australia.
“That reflects about 20 per cent of the total economy for Tamworth.”
