Phoenix parts ways with Topex Robinson; Jamike Jarin named as interim head coach

The Phoenix Super LPG Fuelmasters has parted methods with head coach Topex Robinson.

Robinson has been on the helm of the Fuelmasters since 2020 and has been with the group for 5 years.

“We thank coach Topex for his five years of service with Phoenix, and wish him the very best as he pursues other endeavors,” Phoenix stated in a press release on Thursday.

The group stated assistant coach Jamike Jarin will take over as interim head coach within the upcoming Governors’ Cup.

“Coach Jamike has been with the team since 2020 and has played a significant role in the team’s building and development process,” Phoenix stated.

Under Robinson, the Fuelmasters reached the semifinals throughout the 2020 Philippine Cup. They additionally reached the quarters within the 2021-22 Governors’ Cup and within the current Commissioner’s Cup.
