The Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 197 on Friday acquitted Juanito Remulla III, the son of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, of unlawful drug possession fees.
Juanito was nabbed throughout a managed supply operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group at Talon Dos, Las Piñas on October 11.
The youthful Remulla had pleaded not responsible to the unlawful drug possession cost.
He can also be going through complaints for importation of harmful medicine and violation of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act earlier than the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office. —Joahna Lei Casilao/KBK, GMA Integrated News
