Teens seriously hurt after e-scooter collides with car

It’s believed that at about 7.15pm, a 13-year-old Mountain Creek boy was using an e-scooter with a 13-year-old Buderim woman as a passenger, eastbound alongside George Street in Alexandra Headland, after they collided with a silver Suzuki Vitara wagon travelling north alongside Mayfield Street.

The driver and a number of bystanders stopped to supply fast first assist to the youngsters, however the boy and woman each sustained crucial accidents.

The boy was flown to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.

The woman was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

The driver of the automobile, a 34-year-old Mooloolaba girl, was not bodily injured.
