Millions of Aussies hit by bank outage

Millions of Australians who use ANZ Bank are unable to entry their accounts utilizing their app and web banking companies.

ANZ confirmed an investigation was underway after prospects reported the problem on Tuesday.

“We’re investigating an issue affecting some customers accessing the ANZ app and internet Banking,” ANZ stated in a press release posted on X.

“We’re working to resolve this as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience.

“The ANZ Plus app, Phone Banking, ATMs and EFTPOS facilities continue to be available.”

Customers have taken to social media to share their outrage as they try to fail to entry their cash.

One buyer stated he was “legit stuck” with out the app on a piece day.

Another said they had been attempting to course of their payroll and “staff won’t be happy if they can’t get paid”.

A pissed off buyer stated ANZ ought to “reimburse people” for the inconvenience.

“Great, another quality service by ANZ,” he wrote on X.

“What are you guys even trying to run, I haven’t been able to access my bank at all.

“Too bad if some people were at a servo or stuck in a parking lot you (got to) pay to get out of.”

Another added: “Please hurry up, I want my KFC”.

An ANZ customer support officer replied to at least one criticism on X after the individual complained their app and desktop on-line banking weren’t working.

“Unfortunately, we have an ongoing system outage with our ANZ app and internet banking,” the ANZ employee replied on X.

“We are working to resolve this as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience.”
