Russian missiles attacked a residential district of Ukraine’s second largest metropolis, Kharkiv, early on Wednesday, Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated on Telegram.
Terekhov stated data on casualties was being clarified. Public broadcaster Suspilne stated civil infrastructure had been destroyed within the assault.
The air raid alert in Kharkiv area was subsequently lifted. — Reuters
