Kevin Quiambao turned the primary participant to register a triple-double in 5 years as he led De La Salle University previous National University, 88-78, on Saturday in UAAP Season 86 on the Mall of Asia Arena.
Quiambao stuffed the stat sheet with 17 factors, 14 assists, and 11 rebounds, together with 4 steals because the Green Archers improved to 6-3.
Prior to the La Salle star’s triple-double, CJ Cansino was the final participant to realize the feat with 20 factors, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists for the University of Santo Tomas.
Jonnel Policarpio had 15 factors, whereas Evan Nelle and Mark Nonoy added 14 and 10 factors, respectively, for the Taft-based squad’s third straight win. NU, in the meantime, dropped to 7-2.
Earlier, University of the East (3-6) ended a five-game skid on the expense of the University of Santo Tomas (1-8), 86-73.
UAAP motion continues on Sunday on the Smart Araneta Coliseum with Adamson University taking over Far Eastern University at 2 pm and University of the Philippines going in opposition to Ateneo de Manila University at 6 pm.
