Furious Kayo customers are demanding refunds after the streaming service crashed forward of the cut-throat AFL semifinal conflict between Melbourne and Carlton.
Kayo, which expenses as much as $35 a month for premium and devoted sports activities streaming, reportedly did not load when AFL followers jumped on to look at the sold-out MCG conflict on Friday night time.
“Whoa there! You might need to wait a bit,” an error message learn.
“Currently we are receiving more requests than we are comfortable with. To try your request again, come back in a short while and reload this page.”
For some customers, the same message pops up on the high of the desktop browser.
“Getting an error message when you’re trying to stream? This is under investigation as a high priority,” that message reads.
Furious AFL followers vented their frustration on social media, with some demanding refunds for the service.
“Absolutely unacceptable. REFUND NOW!,” one Facebook consumer wrote.
“Hey @kayosports, your paying customers are furious because apparently, your glitchy streaming service has a max capacity to use your product. I’ll be contacting @choiceaustralia and the @acccgovau if your paying customers aren’t compensated,” one other wrote on X (previously Twitter).
“Easily the worst streaming app in history. U have 1 job #kayo,” one other stated.
The subject “Kayo” was trending on X on Friday night time, with 36,700 posts in regards to the streaming service.
Some of these reported their service to be working as regular, whereas many had been complaining they had been locked out.
The semifinal can also be being broadcast reside and free on 7mate.
