An allegedly stolen brown Mercedes hatchback collided head-on with a Nissan Micra on Windsor Road in Burnside, close to Nambour about 7.23am, based on police.
A 52-year-old nurse was killed within the crash, whereas the alleged driver of the Mercedes, a person in his 20s, ran from the scene.
Witnesses adopted the driving force to a close-by house on Flinders Street, the place he allegedly tried to get away in a second automobile, however members of the general public managed to carry him there till police arrived.
