Northern Territory Police Commissioner Michael Murphy says amongst these injured within the helicopter crash off the coast of Darwin are 23 US Marine core troopers.
“Five marines have been returned to Darwin for treatment, with the remaining being triaged at the scene and being transported back to Darwin,” he mentioned throughout a media convention on Sunday.
“Additional police and defence personnel have been deployed to Melville Island to support operations.”
