The signage, together with digital video shows and phrases like VIP lounge and gamers’ room, have to be taken down by September 1 as a part of the NSW authorities’s playing reforms.
Liquor and Gaming NSW (LGNSW) will start conducting checks in September and from December there might be “no exceptions”, with members of the general public inspired to report venues in breach of the rules.
Gaming Minister David Harris stated it was the subsequent step within the authorities’s dedication to reform within the trade.
“Pubs and clubs have one week until this ban will take place and we will begin enforcement from day one,” Harris stated.
