Go with the Fro! Tai Webster rocking bold new look

Perth Wildcat guard Tai Webster unveiled a radical new coiffure this week, capturing up just a few additional inches forward of the pre-season.

The 28-year-old courted the spectacular afro throughout pre-season coaching and shocked the membership with a transfer away from his common braided look.

The outgoing Wildcat determined it was time to present his ordinary type a relaxation and confirmed off his untamed hair which hasn’t been lower in 18 months.

“It felt like it was time to get some air into it, to let the hair rest before it gets tied up for the season,” Webster informed The West Australian.

However followers are warned that this might simply be a rebound, as he appears to be like to both lock it again down or rid himself of hair fully.

“I have been thinking of shaving it off, but I don’t know,” he stated.

Webster has returned for a second season with the membership after becoming a member of the Wildcats halfway by way of final season following a departure from his membership in Turkey.

Coach John Rillie was amused by the guard’s daring selection, explaining that it wasn’t the worst factor the participant may have rocked up with.

“Tai is one of our great team characters. He’s shown up with a few extra inches on his height thanks to his hair,” Coach Rillie stated.

“What I can tell you is Perth Wildcats lead the league in Afros.”

The Wildcats go head-to-head with the NBL1 West Select staff – made up of gamers chosen as the very best from the NBL1 West season.

The two groups will conflict on Friday evening on the Mike Barnett Sports Complex in Rockingham at 7:30pm.
