The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters clinched their second win within the 2023 William Jones Cup after taking down Japan, 116-91, on Saturday in Taiwan.
The Elasto Painters relied on a powerful second half as they restricted the Japan U-22 group to simply 34 factors towards their 65-point romp to take the win.
The Japanese squad had an in depth lead on the finish of the primary half, 57-51.
Santi Santillan paced Rain or Shine with 20 factors, whereas Gian Mamuyac and Ange Kouame chipped in 18 factors apiece. Nick Evans had 17 factors, whereas Anton Asistio added 11 factors.
With the win, the Elasto Painters improved to 2-5, whereas Japan went all the way down to 1-6. The Elasto Painters fell to Chinese Taipei Blue, Chinese Taipei White, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, earlier than getting their first win towards Iran, adopted by a loss towards Anyang KGC.
Rain or Shine will cap their marketing campaign on Sunday towards University of California, Irvine, the United States’ consultant to the match.
