Chicago Bulls heart Nikola Vucevic and the remainder of the Montenegro males’s basketball staff arrived on Thursday evening in Manila for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
The staff posted snippets of their coaching within the nation on their social media accounts.
Montenegro will tackle Gilas Pilipinas in a closed-door match on Sunday, the second of the Philippine staff’s three-game collection of tuneup video games forward of the opening evening on August 25 towards Dominican Republic.
Montenegro, of their second straight World Cup look, is grouped with Egypt, Mexico, and Lithuania in Group D. Their group will play the pool section on the Mall of Asia Arena.
Also on the staff is Vucevic’s former Bulls teammate Marko Simonovic.
