“Playing a villain is great – there are no rules playing a villain so it was just fun to be able to let loose,” he mentioned. “Superfly is the king of New York — everybody knows his name in the streets.

“Nothing happens in New York without going through Superfly or it’s gonna be a problem.”

Rogan, 41, wrote the screenplay, and produces and stars within the flick besides, taking part in mutant warthog dangerous man Bebop.

“Oh he’s cool, man,” the rapper informed Capital XTRA on working with Rogan.

“You know Seth — he’s just a fun guy, so easy to get along with. He laughs at everything so he’s just a dude who … you wanna make him laugh when you’re working, you know you’re on the right track. It’s just an honour to work with him.

“I’ve been watching his work for two decades.”

“It’s because they’re teenagers, and they feel this desire to be a part of the normal world,” Rogan reasoned on the loyalty of followers’ funding to the 4 ninjas.

“This desire to be understood, and that they’re fun and kind of reckless and immature. That is really the thing that has made them resonate for so long.”

“I loved the toys. The toys themselves honestly had so much creativity put into them, and so many weird details and artistic elements,” he informed the Polygon web site.

“I skateboarded because of the Ninja Turtles, and I did karate — it really tapped into a lot of things that were really popular in the 80s and 90s as well.”
