The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) on Tuesday stated it has developed and mushy launched its automated platform for licensing and allowing processes.
The platform or the Online Processing System with Digital Payment System (OPS-DPS) mission is “in line with President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.’s directive to ramp up measures to digitalize government processes to ensure efficient and fast delivery of services,” the NTC stated in an announcement.
The mission is aimed to streamline and expedite the processing and issuance of licenses, permits, certificates, authorizations, and clearances for telecommunications and web infrastructure.
The telecommunications regulator stated the pilot implementation of the system can be in its Licensing Management of the Networks and Facilities Division (NFD) and Services and Interconnection Division (SID) underneath the company’s Regulation Branch.
