Waverley Council Mayor Paula Masselos says she was “completely devastated” after seeing the quantity of garbage left at Bronte Beach on Christmas and Boxing Day.
She stated the council is contemplating “several options” to discourage this from occurring once more, together with having extra police and rangers on web site.
“This happened back in 2019 and we had hoped that was the end of it, but it seems it’s come back and we are shattered actually,” she advised Sky News Australia.
