Former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Martin Diño handed away on Tuesday morning, based on his daughter Liza Diño-Seguerra.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Martin Diño, Former Undersecretary of the DILG. ‘Bobot,’ as he is fondly called, peacefully died at 2:15 am on August 8, 2023, surrounded by his family,” Diño-Seguerra stated on Facebook.
Diño served as DILG undersecretary in the course of the time period of President Rodrigo Duterte.
He additionally served because the chairman of the Violence Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) group.
