Brisbane Roar has made a public apology to one of many A-League membership’s gamers for the “invalid” termination of his contract.
In August final 12 months, left-back Corey Brown was sacked by the membership resulting from alleged critical misconduct.
However, the next month, Football Australia’s nationwide dispute decision chamber dominated that the Roar’s termination of Brown’ employment was invalid.
The Roar’s new administration of staff on Friday night time launched an announcement of apology to Brown – who has since returned the membership – and “withdrawn” is statements on August 18 and 19, 2022.
“We respect the importance and integrity of Football Australia’s dispute resolution processes,” Brisbane Roar chief government officer Kaz Patafta mentioned.
“What is of equal importance is our commitment to player and employee welfare and ensuring that we uphold the highest standards moving forward into the future as a club.
“Corey is an important member of our organisation, and we look forward to the significant contribution he will bring in the coming seasons.”
